Delta Careers FAQ
Do I need to have previous work experience to apply?
No prior work experience is required. Delta programs are built for high school students who are curious about a field and want a genuine, guided introduction — we start from the fundamentals and build toward real, portfolio-worthy deliverables.
How do I apply to join these programs?
Applying is simple. Submit a short interest form telling us about your interests and goals, and one of our advisors will reach out to help you choose the right program and complete your enrolment.
What is the application like?
There's no competitive exam or lengthy essay. The application is a brief form about your interests, background, and what you hope to gain — it usually takes just a few minutes to complete.
Is there a cost to these programs?
Yes, Delta programs are paid experiences. Registering your interest and speaking with an advisor is completely free, and they'll walk you through the options and any available scholarships or financial support.
How much is the program tuition fee?
Tuition varies by program, format, and duration. Because fees differ across Delta Careers, Delta Launch, and our UPenn × Delta programs, we share exact, up-to-date pricing during your free consultation.
I can't make some of the dates — can I still join?
In many cases, yes. We run multiple cohorts throughout the year and some sessions are recorded or flexible. Let your advisor know your availability and we'll help find a cohort that fits your schedule.
Delta Launch FAQ
Do students need prior coding experience?
No prior coding experience is required. The program starts with Python basics and builds up to advanced concepts.
Who is this program suitable for?
This program is ideal for high school students with an interest in technology, coding, and AI, regardless of their prior experience.
What projects will students work on?
Students will complete hands-on projects tailored to their track. In Delta AI: an AI chatbot and a capstone project addressing real-world issues using AI. In Delta Code: 2 hands-on coding projects and interactive quizzes.
How will this program help with college applications?
The recommendation letter will boost student’s college application. The hands-on projects and white-paper report will enhance students’ college applications by showcasing real-world problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

Delta Podcast Immersion FAQ
What is the Podcasting Immersion Program, and who is it designed for?
The Podcasting Immersion Program is designed for highly motivated students who are passionate about creating their own podcast. It aims to help students gain the skills necessary to launch a podcast and use it as an extracurricular tool to enhance their university application. This program is ideal for students looking to stand out and showcase their abilities in media production, storytelling, and communication.
What is included in the 1-on-1 mentorship, and how does it work?
The 1-on-1 mentorship consists of personalized sessions where the student works closely with an expert mentor. In these sessions, students receive tailored guidance on all aspects of podcast creation, from planning and recording to editing and promoting. The mentor helps students refine their ideas, offers feedback, and ensures they stay on track to launch their podcast.
What will I have accomplished by the end of the program?
By the end of the program, students will have successfully launched their podcast. Students will also have gained hands-on experience in podcast production, including creating compelling content, editing audio, and applying effective promotional strategies.
Will I work directly with a mentor?
Yes, each program is a 1:1 mentorship experience, ensuring personalized guidance tailored to your goals and interests.
What is the difference between Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the program?
In Phase 1, the focus is on laying the foundation for your podcast, including defining your podcast’s concept, planning your first episodes, and setting up the necessary tools and equipment. In Phase 2, the focus shifts to producing and publishing your first five episodes, as well as promoting and growing your audience.
Speak to Inspire (TEDx) FAQ
What is the time commitment required for this program?
The program requires a commitment of 3-5 hours per week, including 10 one-on-one classes with expert mentors over 12 weeks.
What will I have accomplished by the end of the program?
Participants will deliver a fully developed TEDx-style talk at a live or recorded event. They will also earn a Certificate of Completion and acquire skills in communication, public speaking, and storytelling.
When can I join the program?
The program is completely flexible and the students can start anytime.
Will I work directly with a mentor?
Yes, each program is a 1:1 mentorship experience, ensuring personalized guidance tailored to your goals and interests.
